The second ad on the page is the one to watch:
http://www.armstrong.com/flooring/flooring-ads.html
I found this ad worth mentioning because it is so funny and out there. A person playing golf hits a ball through someones window, then steps through the broken window and hits said ball out another window. The advertisement had nothing to do with golfing, but instead the floor that the gentleman played off of. Very memorable!

Emotional Marketing
Though I have already done a post on this, I figured it was worth it to do another. Lately I have been cruising on spring break, and last night I looked in the fridge to get something to eat. After reading the soymilk, I came across:
"Plus, Silk comes with zero cholesterol, absolutely no lactose and a healthy dose of optimism."
How can milk come with optimism? After reading the rest of the milk jug, it was obvious they were pitching the product to those people concerened with their weight and health. Most of the arguments found tried to inflate the goodness of the product with either an emotional benefit to be gained or some cool thing the product has (6 -mighty- grams of nourishing soy protein!)

Memorable!
It is rare these days to find an ad that you remember. The ads I think of when I try to think of something that stuck with me like a bug is the Quiznos ones from awhile ago.
Recently, Old Spice hit the nail on the head with their ad about "The Man Your Man Could Smell Like".
Youtube link:

I thought this ad was interesting also because it is continuing the trend of bashing on "lady scented bodywashes". Is this market penetration or just trying to bash other companies for the scents they employ?
